About the L.A. Series: The series of works was created during an artist in residence stay of the artist in Los Angeles. The painting backgrounds of the works are all found objects from the streets of the u.s. metropolis on the California coast.

The artist: Pedro Anacker is a Hamburg artist and painter. His abstract works are minimalist and massive at the same time, without ever losing the balance of apparent opposites. His impressive career includes several years of university attendance in the field of free painting at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg (HFBK) with Prof. Bernd Koberling. Pedro Anacker works and lives in Hamburg.
