About URBANSHIT GALLERY

Hamburg based URBANSHIT GALLERY is a gallery for art at the interface between Street Art and Urban Contemporary Art. The focus is laid on international artists with a foundation in Graffiti and Street Art.

With our passion we follow the long term goal to put up the movement to the next level by publishing and writing about urban art, realizing projects in public space, curate festivals, representing artists and exhibiting and selling urban art.

Where we are coming from

For more than a decade, the Webzine URBANSHIT has emphasized on urban art, street culture and art within in the genre of graffiti and street art. What has started off as an minor blog for insiders sharing a love for street art, become the leading German-language platform in the field of street art and urban culture. Through daily updates it aims to keep pace with the contemporary urban art scene. With the URBANSHIT GALLERY, the online magazine has grown in the form of a gallery and showroom outside of the virtual world in the middle of Hamburg St. Pauli since spring 2017 and shows the best of street art and urban culture with a changing program.

Location

The 90 square meters gallery and showroom is centrally located in Hamburg-Ottensen, just a few minutes walk from the Altona train station.
