About the artist

GOLIF’s style is more memorable than any other. Using black paint, on various mostly colored backgrounds, the Vienna-born artist paints expressive characters with dynamic brushstrokes, reminiscent of graphic novels. The expression is gloomy and captivating at the same time – the figures mysterious and always originating from fiction.

In addition to large-scale murals in public spaces, the Vienna-based artist paints on canvas and cardboard. He learned his artistic skills at an art school in Tyrol and during subsequent art studies at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. Meanwhile, the artist exhibits worldwide and has already made a stop with his art in cities such as New York, Paris, Vienna and Strasbourg.
