The style of the artist Golif is more memorable than any other. Using black paint on various mostly coloured backgrounds, the Austrian-born artist paints expressive characters with dynamic brushstrokes, reminiscent of graphic novels. The expression is dark and captivating at the same time – the figures mysterious and always springing from fiction. Under the title Golif – Hamburg, the artist brings his works to Germany for the first time in the form of an extensive solo exhibition of large-format canvas works.
